Artist Susan Olmetti Partners with CauseWire™ for Press Release Distribution

Baltimore, MD, February 5, 2010 — Acclaimed abstract artist Susan Olmetti (http://www.susanolmetti.com/) has selected CauseWire^TM (http://www.ereleases.com/causewire/) as her press release distribution partner. Olmetti announced last week the launch of her nationwide tour and the premiere of her newest series, “The Outdoor Girls,” at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City. The ten paintings in “The Outdoor Girls” series consist of ten avatars designed by Olmetti, who says that each “Girl” in the series is an interpretation of the independent spirit of women. “The ‘Girls’ demonstrate a theme that runs through much of my work: Love without faith forms a dying flower. They are very much thriving, and so they are embodiments of the combined force of love and faith,” comments Olmetti.

Abstract artist Susan Olmetti discovered her talent in 1999 in the hub of the art world, NYC, and drew inspiration from the flamboyant personalities and eclectic characters inhabiting the nooks and crannies throughout the Hotel Chelsea.

Her 2009 show, presented by Olmetti at the Hotel Chelsea, “Superior Room Service and Fabulous Dreams,” was very well-received by both the press and the general public. “Although her work has many facets, it’s her nude self-portrait photographs that are her signature works … In addition, Olmetti is a tireless advocate for individuals with bi-polar disorder, HIV and AIDS, and the LGBT community,” stated James Horner of the Manhattan Fine Arts Examiner.
