WPI Group has partnered with its affiliate World Phone in India to bring this service to its customers. World Phone will install and support the Internet telephony connections in India. This is the distinguishing aspect of this service, as most families outside the USA consist of elderly parents, who are alone and not very technologically savvy. So on-site installation and on-site support is provided to them, making  the service easy to use - as if they were using a regular landline number.

The beauty lies in the simplicity of the service. A US resident subscribes and pays for the service through the website. The service is then delivered to his family in India as a gift - installed and support provided. The family in India is even taught how to set up and retrieve voicemails, since this is not a common feature in many phones in India.

The family in India is now able to call friends and relatives in the USA and Canada without payment of any extra fees. Similarly, the US resident is able to call his family on the 888atindia.com connection from ANY phone, as if it were a local call.
