CBT Planet Becomes a K Alliance Reseller

A new alliance between CBT Planet and K Alliance has been announced; as a reseller of K Alliance videos and distance learning classes, CBT Planet is better able to serve the computer, business soft skills, and IT training needs of its students no matter where they are located

     

     

Distance learning is one of the fastest-growing segments in the training and education industries. Not only are colleges and universities embracing distance learning, businesses are as well. By attending live classes online, students and employees are able to receive a high-quality class without having to physically go to school. Streaming video and audio broadcasts along with the ability to call in and ask questions have transformed distance learning into a viable alternative to the classroom. In addition, screen sharing technology makes it possible for course instructors to demonstrate software and deliver multimedia presentations directly on each student’s computer screen.

K Alliance, and now by extension CBT Planet, offers a growing list of e-learning classes covering dozens of topics such as Adobe, BizTalk, Cisco, Crystal Reports, Java, Oracle, VMware, and Microsoft Office training. These classes are live, online training classes where physical attendance is no longer necessary. Students receive the training from live, certified instructors online.

K Alliance also offers self-paced training videos as well. These videos also feature certified instructors and can be accessed either online or via a training disc. With this type of training, the students watch K Alliance videos at their own pace rather than live. As with distance learning, the list of course titles is extensive with courses covering just about all of the most popular business desktop applications, IT topics, and IT certification programs.

The learning management systems allows for customization, progress tracking, reporting, and complete control over the training.

CBT Planet joins the likes of ProTech Group, Countrywide Training, Fry’s, and Academic Superstore by becoming an authorized reseller of K Alliance training programs.
