The EPA provision establishes requirements for the installation, operation, maintenance, and certification of continuous emission monitoring systems. Such requirements are enforced to ensure effective measurement, recording, and standardized reporting of specified emissions and other parameters. All data generated by the CEMS can be used as a basis for regulations enforcement, and the regulations apply to all facilities where continuous emission monitoring is a condition for an approval issued under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act (EPEA).
“We are already a market leader in the industrial gas monitoring industry, and now with our IntelliCEMS GA product line, we are able to expand on our existing scope of supply to our clients to ensure their compliance with regulations on the local, state and federal level,” says Arun Govil, Cemtrex CEO. “Monitoring of emissions has become a global issue, and more strict regulations by authorities, as well as the public claim for a complete surveillance of pollution and greenhouse gases, have caused an increasing interest in emission monitors,” continued Mr. Govil.
