The prizes - in total, 11 Netbooks and 77 press release distributions - are valued at a whopping $34,000, and any business with a Twitter or Delicious account, blog or Web site can enter the giveaway multiple times.
Thus far, ten Netbooks and 71 press release distributions have been awarded, with one Netbook and six releases still to go.
The winner of Week Ten’s Netbook is Lee Barley. The Netbook prize is the Asus® Eee PC(TM) 1005HA, a CNET editors’ choice in June 2009. It comes equipped with features like a 10.5-hour battery life, built-in Bluetooth, 160GB of storage and an ergonomic keyboard, and retails for around $389.
“I congratulate Lee on this awesome prize and hope it will serve as a rewarding tool,” stated Mickie Kennedy, founder and CEO of eReleases. “I admit that eReleases runs on Macs, but everyone here is impressed by the versatility of this machine in the mostly PC world. We love small businesses, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity here at eReleases, and tools such as a good Netbook - much like a press release - can give innovators an extra edge.”
