It is a story of a lonely star who travels through the universe looking for someone to talk to. He finds a friend whom he never thought he would meet. The book educates every child, as young as pre-schoolers, about friendship and the universe.
This book also shares that one of the five most significant things that can be done among children is read and talk together. Getting a child ready to read is the single most important thing that a parent can do to give a great start to learning.
Because of its great impact to children, The Lonely Star has been endorsed by the Indiana Vocational Technical College in Richmond, Indiana, and has it on sale in its bookstore. The book is loved by most of the children who know it.
