Bobby Simmons, the New Jersey Nets’ hottest 3-point shooter, has signed on to be a brand ambassador for Sensible Portions. Check out Bobby at the summer Fancy Foods Show (Booth #159) June 29 signing headshots and handing out great-tasting, healthful snacks to fans. In addition, Bobby will appear at local supermarkets throughout the Tri-State area.

Sensible Portions and Super Bowl Champion defensive end Justin Tuck of the New York Giants share a very important mission: helping children. So Sensible Portions has partnered with Tuck to present Tuck’s Celebrity Billiards 2009 which will benefit R.U.S.H. (Read, Understand, Succeed and Hope) for Literacy, a charitable initiative founded by Tuck and his wife Lauran in 2008 to encourage children to embrace literacy. Children will be the big winners in this event!

Due to the tremendous success of Sensible Portions at the Izod Arena during the 2008-2009 Nets Season, these snacks have been added to Giants Stadium, home of the Giants, Jets and Red Bulls, for 2009-2010.

The list of sampling, donations, and sponsorships wouldn’t be complete without the support of a big fan, Bill Germanakos, Season 4 Winner of the reality hit television series The Biggest Loser. Bill has recently appeared in ads for Sensible Portions, touting the brand as a favorite with superior taste and healthful benefits. Look for Bill in your local grocery store as well!
