Publishers of press releases have learned that they get more traffic when their release appears on Page 1, and that in general, press releases that are higher up on the page get more traffic than those below.
The SEO Standard Version press release will appear on Page 1 when published, for a minimum of one day, with a default level of “2″.
To display your press release above other releases, you may buy level additions for $15 each.
For example, if you purchase 2 level additions ($30), your press release will have a level of “4″, and will appear above other releases with level “3″ or less published on the same day.

You can also increase the time during which your press release appears on Page 1.
If you scheduled a press release for Monday, and purchased a 3 day extension ($49), your press release would appear on Page 1 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Further, on each of those days, it would appear at the top of Page 1, among the current day’s releases.
For example, on Wednesday, all of Wednesday’s releases would appear at the top of Page 1. Your release, originally published on Monday, but with a 3 day extension added, would also appear among the Wednesday releases at the top of the page.
It should be noted that on each day, the position level of your release will also be used to position the order of your release. So, if you had purchased a level “4″, that level would be used on every day for which you had purchased the front page persistence option.
