Recruiting via social media and online searches is a new and popular way to find just the right candidate for high-profile positions. Frequently, as with Vann’s effort, a video submission will be required. The Community Manager will act as an advocate and brand champion on behalf of Vann’s in a multitude of online communities. Vann’s opened the application process on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 and will close submissions on Friday, August 28th, 2009. Vann’s wants to have a Community Manager in place by mid-October of this year.
