Nine Year Old Girl Urges Peers to Avoid Temptations of Adolescent Life

At just nine years old, Alya has already read almost 1400 books, written three articles and a series of three books on “Things Every Kid Should Know”: Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs.

Alya Nuri wants to help her peers understand the dangers of things they’ll most likely be tempted with in the near future: “My mother taught me very early in my life that these things are bad; I know they are, and now it’s my duty to help others understand it too, before it is too late for them,” explains Alya Nuri.

Alya is finishing her 5th grade through the home schooling system. She loves to read, paint, participate in various sports, as well as swim. She wants to continue with her passion of writing and public speaking to raise awareness among the youth of these dangerous substances. It is also Alya’s ambition to become a Veterinarian in the future.

At the age of nine, this young author hopes to eradicate some of the major challenges while growing up in America. Alya Nuri is a girl that wants nothing more than to help others her age stay far away from drugs, alcohol and tobacco.

“I have read over a hundred books on these three topics and understand why it is not good for anyone to smoke, drink, or take drugs,” Alya Nuri explains.

“I am hoping to educate the youth about these topics before they get pressured to start these bad habits,” adds Alya.

With more than 1,700 alcohol-related deaths each year among college students, and over 80,000 kids trying smoking for the first time in America, Alya Nuri’s series of books could not have come at a better time. Each book aims to open a dialogue among the youth of today in a language that they all share.

“Alya’s strength is her ability to communicate with others in a loving way; we praise God each day for having gifted her with this ability,” says Alya Nuri’s mother, Zohra Sarwari.

Alya Nuri, a nine-year-old child author and speaker, started her writing career at the tender age of seven and has now finally gotten her series, “Things Every Kid Should Know,” on Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs published and available to purchase. She loves reading books and working for the welfare of the poor and needy. She has written three articles and wants to continue writing more books for the betterment of the youth. She wants to pursue her passion of public speaking and coaching kids. Currently she is co-authoring book number four, and working on book number five.
